Has anybody used these?

They're pricey but look pretty good.

Expensive, also extremely long and hard. Not sure they really are anything but an oddity of the reloading world.

I have some 165gr for a 358W but I just cant really see an application where it will perform better than a 180gr Barnes or a traditional Cup and Core projectile.

My thoughts were along similar lines Billo, the only thing I could picture them having any advantage on would be pigs.
I would imagine that any soft, thin skinned critters wouldn't provide enough resistance to cause expansion. I could be wrong, that's not an unknown sensation for me

I'm always interested in trying new things, but the at over $1/pill I'm leery of jumping in without looking for input.

I have used them, they work well on pigs, the driving bands are so large it dictates the seating depth and on smaller cases like the 45/70 it can limit the amount of powder you can stuff in there.

Here's some weirdness.
I can't imagine it would be worth the bother, but obviously enough do to produce and market them.
