Cleaning a Dillon XL650

Post by Ausmade » 06 Oct 2022, 11:01 am

Hi all,

I've just picked up a used Dillion XL650 and I'm looking for some advice please as it is filthy! Now, I've cleaned and refurbished a number of presses over the years but this is by far the dirtiest. For the most part I've used either brake cleaner or general purpose paint thinners in the past so, excluding any plastic or polymer parts, will either of these do the job without affecting the paint etc? Any first hand experience with sorting these impressive bits of gear out would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Aus
