I wonder where I can find SR/LR/LRM primers in Melbourne? :unknown:
Cheers

I think you'll have to call all the places within driving distances. Might struggle with the SR's though.

I've called almost 10 shops, all empty

I’m quite thankful of the fact that most of my reloading uses LR which seems not to be affected in the supply problem, very comfortable not having to deal with this primer shortage rubbish that’s been goin on

Yep, if I were shooting something using SR I'd be separating a batch and drilling them to use LR primers.

Good idea blade. I had never thought of that. Do people do that already? My bushmaster uses SR. but its a safe queen , and I have a stack of loaded ammo for it , and I still have a few packets of SR Primers so all sorted there for years.

I'm lucky. Shortly before covid I bought 1000 LR & 1000 SR. And at an excellent price. I figure that at the rate I shoot I have more than enough to do me till I drop. :? :D

But not selling any.

Not sure, don't think I've heard of anybody trying it but it seems extremely likely.
Some cartridges have the option of small or large primers though.
