Looking for loads for 45 long colt in a chiappa lever action rifle
Have 185 GRN cast projectiles
And 250 and 300 GRN jacketed projectiles
Heard U can use 2207 powder?
Is this correct
Any loading data be good plz

AR2207 is sold in the US as H4198.
You should find data online.

I agree with some of those forum thread posts.
AR2207 is a great powder for larger pistol calibers with heavy projectiles, I use it in 38SP and 357Mag with 180gn projectiles and case filled to capacity, in both loads it's warm but not hot and not enough case capacity to overload. Accuacy/consistency is amazingly good but even with magnum primers there is always some unburned powder left behind, this can be problematic in revolvers as it gets under the extractor and prevents the cylinder from closing until you clear it out.

2207 is also the fastest powder currently available in Australia so choice is limited, BenchMark 1 isn't far behind and has a smaller grain size so that might reduce the unburned powder issue.
