The same info is in my older hornady manuals pics are exactly the same .
Just imagine if people read them ...... there would be a lot less questions on forums about basic info

It's all fairly accurate info. Good concentric jackets is definitely the starting point to make accurate bullets .
I know that from experience in making my own home swaged projectiles for many years but getting those quality jackets is another thing . No standard commercial projectiles would have jackets concentric to .0005 maybe .001 . Berger says .0003 or less for J4 jackets . So it's .0003 . Measuring to that accuracy is also another thing with mandrel or ball micrometer . There is more to projectile stability than just the axial gyroscopic stability . There is other factors that can make it worse or better . No matter how concentric a jacket is if the core is too short then bad center of gravity will also make it shoot bad because it needs more twist even though the jacket length is correct for the twist . However the best accuracy I ever obtained was with my own home grown bullets .
