Ausmade wrote:Hey all, could someone please recommend a retailer that will ship out RCBS spare parts from the USA, specifically the small and large primer rod for the bench mounted priming tool? I can't seem to find any stock in Australia and NIOA are saying they have none on hand and that they would need to be ordered from RCBS with no ETA. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Ebay, or if Brownells offer it you can order it through Brownells.com.au

I did a thorough search and not a lot of retailers carry the rods. Even Amazon has the large and small primer cups that screw into the rod with the spring, but not the rod I can find.
The RCBS ram prime unit uses the same rods and retails for $36, so you can always buy that if you don't want to go through NOIA.
Midsouth Shooters here in the USA does international orders:

I did not see the rods in stock but they have the ram priming unit with the rods. I have dealt with Midsouth several times, excellent retailer.
If you totally get stuck and cannot find the part or get it ordered, post back here again and I will help out.

They're not letting me in either, via the link or the homepage.

Thanks for the suggestion, I sent them an email asking whether I could buy them direct and 7 days later, they arrived in my letter box free of charge! Now THAT is customer service..
