There was an update that blamed humidity and the weather for their inability to produce fast powders but they removed it from their site and there hasn't been an update since.

I understand they are doing very nicely running at full plant capacity making rifle powders, mostly for the export market.

Hahaha, a few good ones here and I am half french.

I would just say, the "never fired, dropped once" is more appropriate for the June 1940 campaign than ww1. It is usually a joke referring to the mas 36. You don't get 5 million dead or wounded without shooting a couple of rounds. Diggers and "poilus" both had it tough in ww1, same goes for Sammies and Tommies

They have been slack in public statements but if you write and ask them they will respond. A few months ago they said that they are finally testing the new APS powders.

The production line was the issue, though our environment played a role. I don't know what they'll come up with, or whether they'll need to. I doubt they've spent four years dedicated to sorting the line out, but if they're now testing then they are at least producing something. Hopefully it means they have some confidence that they've sorted the issue. Whether the product is good enough remains to be seen of course, when we eventually see it. Sometime 2025 is the best bet I think. There are people that used, and still use, the APS powders successfully so it wasn't entirely garbage. I think they must've done a batch during the summer, figured it was good and put it to market. Then they did another batch in the winter and it all fell apart. A guy posted on FB yesterday that he's doing testing with three of the "old" APS powders so it is still in peoples' cupboards.

There is another facility out there with almost identical issue. In Canada I think.
