I was wondering if it's a waste getting a 6.5-300 in Australia given there is no US869 powder and Aussie powders produce 200-250fps slower velocities.

This isnt about whether these velocities are required, but whether technically the 6.5-300 is only 26 nosler or not "the flattest shooting" reloaded with Adi powders, trajectory is no differen to a 300wby or other big 30cal magnums when not using us869.

Has anyone had experience loading for the 6.5-300 with monos (hornady gmx, cx, barnes, nosler e-tip), what were your results?

If you cannot shoot 140s at 3400 fps using 2225 then you need a longer barrel.
