Shell Holder Question

Post by CJRBOLTGUN1 » 12 May 2025, 9:37 am

I have just one simple question," will the Deraco shell holders fit the redding T7 turret press?"

I copied your question to Google and computer says no, not compatible. I've never heard of Deraco and have never seen a Redding press so I can't say, but an email to Deraco should sort it out.

The T7 takes industry standard shell holders, and as far as I am aware Derraco Engineering made shell holders are the same pattern as Lee so they will fit.

Derraco Engineering, they are the makers of the "Ugly Annealer" and several other reloading and case prep tools.

I just rang a mate who uses Derraco Precision shell holders, he said they may not fit SOME Redding presses so you will need to determine if you have their Lee pattern holders or their Precision Series holders, an email to Derraco as bladeracer said would be advisable before you lay out any money, Cheers. (Let us know what they say, will you?)

Oh and congratulations on having such an awesome press.
You obviously are very professional in your set-up.
With my Redding T7, standard shell holders from all the makers fit - Lee, Redding, RCBS, Lyman, all the "standard" category. Whatever TF that is.
Same as my Lyman 8-station turret press sitting next to it, all swap interchangeably.

If the dimensions of the Deraco options are the same, I have no idea. Never heard of them.

Just had a look at the Derraco Engineering website. Seems to be mainly catering for rifle shooters. Has some interesting stuff.
