I've been doing some loading and testing for the 338 Win mag.
I've been loading 225gr Hornady Interbonds and using AR2209, I'm getting around 2800 Fps from a 24in Sako 85 hunter stainless.
groups are ok but I think its mostly me and not the rifle causing discrepancies (its like standing behind a donkey)
I'm just thinking is it worth trying some AR2213SC as on the ADI site they say you can get a little more velocity. but is that from a 24 or 26in barrel?
I've tried RL22 as well but it hated it? 2600fps was max velocity with a max charge.
So has anyone here used AR2213SC in their 338 WM?

What bullets are you shooting in your heavier loads, bobnob?
bobnob wrote:For the 200 Hotcor have settled on 58g of 2206 which shoots real mild and makes about 2800fps.

I did the same to get more comfortable on my .416 by starting with some gentler loads.

I'd probably still end up on the floor
