Bullet Sample Packs

Post by Baldrick314 » 16 Sep 2014, 5:48 pm

Stumbled across these guys while searching through the net

http://www.bulletproofsamples.com

They sell popular projectiles in packs of 12 so you can get an idea of them for load development without investing in a full pack. Didn't look at pricing or shipping costs but they do have an aussie agent.

Seems like a great idea to me, I've often wanted to try a new projectile without having to buy 250

Good idea, I think there are a couple shops around that do a similar thing, something like half a dozen different types of .22 for some nominal price, but I havent heard of anyone doing it for centerfire stuff.

Cool.

I wouldn't mind giving the Berger a go in my 7mm but I'm definitely not buying a box of 100 to try it out.

I might give a dozen a try though.

Nice offering.

There are a few there I'll give a go.

That's the problem all right.

Do your testing and if it doesn't really gel with your setup you've got 50 ordinary rounds to make and use or throw 50 bullets in the bin.

Smaller packs would be nice from a few brands...

Yeah good idea.

Same as centrefire bullets above.

Sucks to get box of 50 rimfire and find after 15 shots they suck.

Can't make rimfire much cheaper though so I suppose I shouldn't complain.
