Bullet which reduces fouling

Post by agentzero » 21 Sep 2014, 4:09 pm

Hi guys,

Apparently there is a bullet which has groove to clean the barrel and reduce fouling when firing?

Anyone know the one?

Thanks.

You could be thinking of Barnes.

They have a fancy name for their bullet cannelures which they say leaves almost no fouling.

Someone will know the name but I can't remember.
What is this "too many rifles" you speak of?

Lol! "Reduces fouling", the Noisy clan had good noisy session today with our black powder fleet. The fouling in our barrels looks like the inside of wood heater!
There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.

There is always fouling. Always.

The pipe needs cleaning once it's used regardless of the bullet used, and the solvent does the work for you in cleaning so, IMO, get the best shooting bullet.

Not the cleaning feature one.
