Necking down 30-06 to .270

Hi guys,

Just double checking this. Necking down 30-06 brass to .270 I can just put the 30-06 through a neck sizing die and that's it right?

Good to load and shoot? Nothing else required?

your case might be a bit short as the 270 has a longer neck

That's it.

Just need to let the neck stretch up over a shot or two and it'll be normal and need trimming from then on.
