When I purchased my 9mm and began shooting this in major power factor, 1350f/sec I thought maybe 10 reloads. I set aside 50 cases and have now reloaded them 40/45 times and only had 1 case split and become unusable.
Normally .45 with recommended load they go for years as does .40 cal and .357 sig.
.38 super I shot for ten years in major power factor over 1300f/sec still usable after 100 reloads, I say that without knowing the exact number, but I had some very old brass. ALWAYS before reloading check for splits, if no splits reload.
NOTE most people shoot 9mm in minor load around 1100f/sec. Mine reloaded heaps of times, every now and again one splits badly, or slight splits appear less than 2mm long, I still reload them as its practice rounds.
.38 special you can reload forever, as with other cases, just check before reloading.
