Focusing on the wrong thing there a bit mate.
Don't forget, you're paying for it's performance (damage) on the animal, not hair splitting accuracy. As you said 1/2 to 3/4 MOA is very respectable accuracy for a hunting rifle.
See how it goes on some of those ferals then make your mind up

So far I’ve taken 3 fallow, a couple of goats and a pig. Every shot has gone out the other side aiming for the heart/lungs broadside.
Internal damage has been severe and the exit holes have been double the size of the entry so expansion hasn’t been an issue. Distance for the shots has been 30m out to around 200m
