Hhmm, some years ago, I was hunting ducks around the Yamba - Maclean area and sneaking along a creek bank up to a few black ducks, I disturbed a paper wasp nest in a copse of hair-tailed pines and boy, did the little buggers give me a work out. With all the swishing and noise, said ducks buggered of to other water holes.

Not to get upset, I carried on stalking but with no success.

Coming back passed the pines, I saw the nest, it was about the size of a saucer, so taking a No. 6 shotshell out of the 12 gauge Hollis D/B and replacing it with a skeet shell, i casually walked back 20 paces and BOOM! Neutralized the nest.

The report put a few ducks up in the air from other close by water holes and BOOM. BOOM!

Two birds with the 1 stone, so to speak.
Boom, Boom! Tikka, Tikka, Boom! Shoot first, video later.

I think I was 10 maybe? Anyway my grandfather had a little boat with a small cabin in it, bit awkward with the small door so you'd hold each side of the door frame and pull yourself forward.

Boat was kept outside and a wasp made his way under the cover and had started a nest on the inside of the door frame. Sure enough, I get in, put my hands on the inside of the door frame and my index finger goes right over the entrance to the nest.

It triple tapped my finger before I reacted and removed it. I think the scream is still reverberating around Brisbane there.

Is that what that was. I thought some little girl had broken a nail!!!

Sorry L just jokes mate!!!! :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:
