Who sells the cheapest 243 and 223 projectiles?

Post by Medic » 03 Sep 2016, 1:28 am

So I'm doing a crapload of reloading recently, and notice that 1 place will sell the same projectile at double the cost of another place.
Just wondering if anyone had some go-to places (Even online stores) to get cheap projectiles in any grain.
Any help would be appreciated, soon i'll start casting my own, stay tuned for that... :D

Don't buy bulk projies until you know they will shoot in your outfit. when you do find something that works well buy up.

I live the super roos too, I was getting them for $110 per 1000 which was great value to me, not sure what they go for these days as I still have around 3000 to load yet so won't be needing anymore anytime soon.

Looks like their 243 offerings aren't quite as cheap... (Sadface)

Might be worth a phone call to the shop that sounds like beavers.
They used to run a special on Highland 100grn PSP .243 projectiles for $99/1,000. Even with postage it worked out at 10c per projectile. This was 3 years ago, so not sure if they still stock them as I haven’t needed to buy any more after buying 4,000 at the time.

I can't remember their name but there is a place doing small batch projectiles for the purposes of load testing.

You could buy packs of 15 or something instead of a box of 50 or 100 like you have to retail.

The name eludes me, someone will know it.

I can't think of them either but I have seen them.
Expensive though so you don't actually save much.
I buy full packs for a bit more money. If they work well then I'm ahead already, if not then I'll use them up as plinking ammo.

Good idea.

I'm sure we've all done it and how s**t is it to buy a pack of 50 and find out in the first 10 you can't hit the broad side of a barn with them
