And they dont claim Varget is 2208 either. Im just suggesting that its a possibility.

Actually, they do. AR2208 is marketed as Varget in the US market.

Hodgdon don't make any powder at all, it's all made by some other company.

If you go to their site page and look up the Safety Data Sheet for any of the powders they distribute you will see the name of the manufacturer of the powder and where they are located plus a heap of other stuff like what it's made from.

Kinda difficult, as two completely different manufacturing processes are involved.
