what weight bullets, barrel length and what barrel twist scott if you don't mind me asking

Chronos

Cals are 204, 222, and 22.250 - running 39bk in the 204, 50gn Projectile in the 222 (seems to shoot most of them well) and 55gn Sierra Super Roos in the 250 - all the barrels are the same length at 24".

204 @ 140m - load is 28.1gn of 2206H/7.5Rem Primer behind a 39gn Sierra Blitzking (that load is over the ADI Recommended) so don't assume it is ok in your rifle (safe so far in mine with no signs of pressure etc).

222 @ 100m - load is 20.5gn of 2206H/CCI SR Primer behind a 50gn Projectile.

22-250 @ 100m - 34.5gn of 2206H/CCI LR Primer behind a 55gn Sierra Super Roo Projectile

Disclaimer:- none of the loads above are meant to be a recommendation for anyone else to use in their particular firearms, they are safe in my particular firearms and I would highly recommend starting from the min recommended in your particular reloading manual and working up carefully keeping an eye out for any potential pressure issues.

Ahh, sorry my misunderstanding mate, I thought you just meant .223

There's certainly some good groups there. :)

In the 223 Ruger (wife rifle) I think its running BM1 or BM2? can't remember now - shoots ok but no doubt I could get it shooting better with some load testing (I got the rifle 2nd hand off a mate (only had around 50rds down it) and came with around 200 handloads so still working our way through them before I start nutting out what it likes best.

I also have 8208 and the 204 shoots very well with that too (probably slightly better that with 2206H) but not enough diff for me to change until I use all the 2206H first.

There's lots of good powders out there, just a matter of trial and error to find what will work in ones particular outfit.

Cheers

My Howa 223 heavy barrel shoots the 53gn SMK's really well. I'm running 25gn 2206H and a CCI BR primer
If it's not wood and blued steel, it's not one of mine

Ha ha.

That seems to be a common trend here late. Ladies out-shooting their blokes.

Maybe they're all getting out and practicing without us so they can put us to shame

My best load so far is a 53gn Sierra match and 25gn of 2206H with a CCI small rife BR primer. Brass is from Norma
