11/12 size shot and steel shot

Has anyone seen size 11 or 12 shot or steel shot for sale. Preferably near deni or wodonga. Also if anyone in Deni or Wodonga has used Winchester 20Ga AA hulls for sale I will pay for them.

Any machine shops around you? You could ask for some handfuls of the swarf from their hacksaws, that'd be similar to 11/12 shot.

Northern Smelters do lead shot, but you'd have to ask them if they can do 11/12, or "dust shot" as I would call it.
Depending on your purpose you could just try sand or salt?

I doubt dust shot is going to kill them even at that range. It dumps velocity _very_ quickly due to lack of mass.
I shot a horsefly with .22 ratshot at about five feet with no effect. I doubt pushing the velocity up would make a difference either due to the lack of mass once the shot opens up. You'd probably do better to use 7.5-ish and dump some powder out to reduce velocity a bit. Or just use CCI Quiet 710fps .22LR.

It is. The Yanks use it for scaring snakes off, but only at very close ranges, like under ten-feet.

Yes, "bentaz" my thoughts too. A good break barrel springer should do the trick for mice and sparrow size birds...
