Remington 7600 .308 loads and experience

Hey guys.. i have a 7600 remington in 308win, im wondering if anyone knows or has had experience with reloads and what is most accurate.. im currently running 130 grain hollowpoints as i want a bit of speed out of the round

Only ever used reloads with "starting" charges. Have not worked up to maximum and have not installed a scope. Shooting off a bench, the action will partly open on firing when rested on a sandbag. Does not happen if the fore end is gripped firmly. When you eject the case is hot :o It's quirky but a perfectly good gun :)

Yea right thanks for that.. so far mines been very good.. just seeing what other people have tried or found workes better

I load Sierra 2124 135gr hpbt bullets with 48.5gr of ar2208, shoots a consistent 1 inch group out of my howa sporter, start at 47gr and work up would be my suggestion I used COAL of 2.635", length of factory loaded OSA ammo with this projectile.

Hornady do their SST in 130gr like you're after.

They seem to shoot well in just about everything.
