303-25 dies

Post by Wal » 21 Nov 2017, 8:41 am

Does anyone have a set of dies theyd like to sell for a 303-25? I bought myself a P14 and it came with 200 loaded cases and about 200 fires cases. Can’t find any here in Australia that are reasonably priced, and the reasonably priced ones are on US eBay and don’t ship to Australia.....

Use the Simplex 7/8 master dies, their a good thing. They do both fls and neck, along with a vice die that is great for forming the round from .303 British brass. Built for Australia, in Australia. I've got a set of Lyman dies and they are not worth a squirt, all they do is split case necks. Obviously the expander button is to big. And when the necks not split the should is at the wrong angle to chamber in any of my 3 rifles in that calibre.

Great old round especially in that action.

I was in Austin Bourkes gun store in Dubbo yesterday and he had at least 3 sets of simplex dies in 303-25 and also another 3 in .303-270. Also had cases and loaded rounds for both. I think it is called "The Bastille", look up gun stores in Dubbo.
