Hi Guys
I'm after the listing in the Hornady Reloading Book for the coal 50 gr V-max bullet in 22.250.
If anyone has a book can they look it up for me I would greatly appreciate your help in this matter.

G'day bones-350,
The Hornady book lists 2.350 for the 50g V-Max, it is the same COL for all their bullets from 40g to 60g, whether V-Max, A-Max, Sp, or HP-BT. The ADI data pomemax linked to doesn't actually list the Hornady 50g V-Max so you would not have got your answer there anyway, but it also lists that length for most pills up to 60g, Cheers,

The 9th edition states 2.350" for every proj listed up to & including all 60 grainers, with the only exception of the 50gr gmx which is 2.340".

Yep, always double check your info.

The bunch of lads here are all pretty solid for info, but there are plenty of armchair experts out there spouting incorrect stuff.

I load them 2.480 in a Tikka and it shoots in the .2s. As others have said work with what will fit your mag, if you use one, and back it off from there. The Vmax is very long due to the polymer tip and it may be difficult to reach the lands and get them to feed in your magazine.
