FFP is to me, a gimmick.
Having known hashmark bracketing to guesstimate range is just a guess anyway, anyone who expects any achievement in competitions would use a laser range finder anyway - anyone who ever shoots LR knows that way out there, 20m is a MASSIVE difference in drop. As far as score rings, or even an animals chest zone is concerned.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but paper shooters are running around in circles shooting at known ranges anyway.
Then, when you wind these ridiculous telescopes down to a power where you can use them at hunting ranges, the reticles suck up and its a compromise.

I'm quite surprised at the rubbish out there suggesting you need them for PRS or anything else actually.
2FP reticle always stay the same, and a shot with a range finder and a wind of the turrets does exactly the same thing.
Marketing in action, and a craze to buy scopes that are not at all dual purpose.

Again, this is what I see from others bringing these scopes here, and the struggles they have in the real world with them. By real world I respectfully mean away from a range, I'm not experienced in competitions but I demand to know where the bullets will strike just as accurately as anyone else, without screwing around with gizmo's.
