303 scope

Post by bronco93 » 05 Aug 2018, 9:17 pm

Bought a no drill scope mount for my sporterized 303 (I'm hopeless at open sights). Been looking at scopes that arent too big and have no idea. Any recommendations? Only looking at shooting at 200m or less. And not looking at spending $500 either. Cheers

For what your doing an old Bushnell, Leupold or Tasco 3-9x40 will fit the bill. Scope and rings for a couple of hundred or so, from usedguns or ebay, Cheers.

No worries. I have a spare 3-9 x 40 here. I'll see how it goes

I still havent actually tested it yet. Have no ammo for it. I am gonna buy ammo next week for it and try and get out the week after. I am considering taking it the scope off though once I see if the rifle actually shoots a half decent group.
