I use a Hawke Vantage 30-30 3-9x50

On a 22lr thats all you need the 6-24 is overkill and the parallax at 20 yards should be fine either way, id more concerned with the MOA

No experience with the Endurance, I have 2 Airmax 30 8-32x50 on a couple of air rifles that are used for Field Target, Silhouette, 10m Precision and general paper punching/plinking anywhere out to 100m, can't fault them and I am about to order another to replace the Sightron SIII on another airgun, you probably don't want a busy reticle such as the AMX in these for Benchrest but I don't think you can go too wrong with a Hawke.

Would you consider a fixed power scope? I use a 36x scope on my rimfire.

I would, just having trouble finding one that the parallax is lower than 20 yards

Yes, I bought mine from Optic planet about 10 years ago. It cost $500 landed but the Aussie dollar was better then.

They can be difficult to use when the mirage is running as you have no option to turn down the magnification. Less of a problem at short range. Not much else will improve your shooting the amount that it does for $700. I put one on a friends rifle for some load development in place of his 12x and it halved his group size just from the ability to place your shot on the target.
