Is this scope good for my CZ 455 22lr?

Hello, I am new to firearms.

Will a Bushnell Trophy 3-9X40 be a good scope for a CZ455 22lr?

Thank you

It is priced very keenly and you will be able to use it to hit things out to 100 in all sorts of lighting conditions. Of course there are better scopes but they all probably cost more. There are also worse scopes around as well.

What are you going to do with it... hunt bunny, paper punching, target stuff.

Good start mate until you find your feet, it will do the job until you decide on what the focus of your hobby will be, for bunnies and plinking plenty good enough, but as said there are many other better ones but obviously may cost more, good start mate enjoy

Its a nice starter for longer ranges, probably too much scope for a 22lr. As a newbie I made the mistake of getting a Bushnell 6-24x50 for a Savage 22lr, selling it cheap now, the crosshairs are too thick the precision target shooting I want to do.

Took 2 rabbits last night at 50m with cz and bushnell 3-9 using subs. I wouldn't take a shot beyond 75m with my set up and agree with above - it will do for starters until you know which direction you might turn - if at all.

Why do you think it is too much scope for a 22LR? Too narrow a field of view on 9x? It is variable and he can wind the power down.
