30mm scope mounts to suit 11mm dovetail.

I need to replace some very aged scope mounts. Scope is a 30mm tube. Plenty of mounts available, at my age I get a bit confused. The rifle is of 22 caliber.
Recommendations?

You can use a dovetail-to-pic rail adaptor mount, and low picatinny rings, or taller dovetail rings.
You'll probably want to use a setup that keeps the scope fairly low, so objective diameter will want to just clear the barrel, and the ocular will want to clear the bolt-handle when it's cycled. Lay the scope roughly where you want it and measure the gap between the tube and the receiver.

Low, medium and high rings are not standardised heights, but you should be able to find measurements of most mounts and rings online.
