No it's just culling for the farmers.
It's pretty awesome stuff, real close quarters.
You only get a split second to get a shot off, they're so fast it's not funny! We also use dogs to flush them from the thick cane. It's mostly all at night as well. Crazy stuff.
That's why I use open sights on a lever action, there's just no time to look through a scope! I've never hunted out in the open fields before, but I'm sure it'll happen one day
