The bunnies and foxes are getting more nocturnal around here, so I thought I'd try finding them in the dark.
I had a decent torch lying around, and some P clamps, so...

Yes, but needs tweaking. That orange bit lights up, so it needs taping. Gives good light to ~50m, so good enough for the job on a .22. Just fits iny rifle bag, too, which is good, because it's not what you'd call "quick release".

Quick update.
Took my first bunny last night, @37m.
So it works fine. Slightly brighter torch would be good, but not necessary.
