Scope levelling kit

Post by Wm.Traynor » 11 Jul 2023, 10:46 am

I see a huge discrepancy in prices for the W#@%^&R scope levelling kit.

From $155 to $20!
The warning/review I saw on Yt.......
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFYufH5 ... WL&index=3
...........looked OK where would I go to find the genuine article?
Obviously there is a rip off in either quality or price or both going on in the Australian market but I just plain don't know what to trust.
Can someone help

Sometimes we get too tied up with what appears to be "the greatest" since sliced bread.
I use one of these https://www.brownells.com.au/index.php? ... ct_id=7143
So simple that with a bit of workshop time you could make one yourself.

No mate, I don't see your issue. There is no "obvious" ripoff in Australian markets, the vid you reference clearly shows the difference in the "basic" kit and the "Professional" kit and prices reflect that, even in the US you will pay Au$140 for the Pro kit and up to Au$70 for the basic. There are also unbranded versions of the basic kit (you could guarantee they came from the same Chinese factory!) for $20. You would not expect to pay the same for a London Best as you would for a Trade gun and prices available here are not so different to the US
