Pard DS 35-70

I’ve only used thermal, Hikmicro scope and monocular.
But I’d like to put something on top of my 22mag.
Don’t want to spend as much this time around, so I was thinking about NV, Pard in particular. Or a 256 sensor thermal. It’d only be used for rabbits, the 223 with the Hik can do the rest.
Not sure how the 256 stacks up.

My advice is be careful with the DS35-70 you might run out of elevation for a 22 mag with a zero rail. Ds35-50 with a 940nm would be a better choice in my opinion. Otherwise a very good unit.

I've got the Pard thermal and like it and I've seen nothing but praise for their NV scopes particularly the hold over function. Nathan from Edge of the Outback uses them exclusevely on some shoots, Owloptics in NZ is a good reference on the Pards too https://www.youtube.com/@owlopticsandoutdoors/videos

He's dumping game out at 615m with the Pard DS35 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2tBwR3OLNA

or a Hare at 224yds with the Pard TD32 (NV/Thermal) in 8.6 Blackout.
