Yes, North East that is so very true about the wearing good sunglasses. Even the new transition lens ( a vast improvement over the previous) just don't go dark enough when wearing them while driving.

Thanks,

Bit late now sorry as it looks like you're sorted but for anyone else poking around there is this guy that's apparently a "Sports vision specialist"

looks interesting and promising.

I'll see how these new glasses go in the field and am at Belmont now and then, so we'll see what happens, thanks :D

Not for your shooters though, right?

Do they test that in VIC?

Not tested for shooting, driving only. Mind you I wouldn't hit a thing shooting without them.

A few blokes would be out if that were the case at my local range.

Lots of coke-bottle glasses at the benches there

Just a quick update - Went up to the Belmont range yesterday, Monday to give the new glasses a try and see if this has effected the zero.
There was a little mirage running and a left to right wind, was being funneled down from between the office and next building and I didn't notice it until I got to the 50 yd butts. Anyway, put up the target at the 100yd. butts and fired 5 rounds.
Result - very happy with the new glasses and impressed with the group. I pulled the 5th shot a bit to the right but otherwise, no too bad.
Rifle - Tikka T3 Lite, cal 243Win.

There was a good few kids there having a shot and a few ladies too! Good to see.

Yep, the specs are going real well and certainly makes a difference. Went up to the range last Monday and put a few down - not the "best" group but will do.

Yeah, same ammo but different box and I didn't check for burrs etc, just put them through. A bit of a rush, rush... I wan't to get the shoot in before Christmas and Monday was about the only day free.

Cheers,
