Hi, has anyone tried out this red dot laser sight from Redfield. Looking at putting one on the CZ512 WMR, cheers

I can give some general Redfield scope feedback.

I use a mates rifle regularly which has the Redfield Revenge 6-18x44.

For the price, it does exactly what it's supposed to. Holds zero, glass quality is fine, smooth zoom. Eye relief is fine.

Nothing amazing, but nothing to criticize for the brand either.

Pretty decent IMO.

Sits on a 30-30 scrub rifle on my outings.

The concentration size of the dot could be a bit better, but for short rage mid size game it's good.

Might be a bit tough for smaller critters with the dot, but my old eyes don't work as well as they used to. You might do better.

Hey mate,

What are you shooting at, and what distances?

My only complain with dots is at 100m on small targets the dot obscures much of the target.

I'd rather have a 1-4x traditional scope for this kind of setup. Personal preference anyway, not knocking the Redfield...

At 50m though I reckon they're quite good.
What is this "too many rifles" you speak of?

Dot scopes are barrels of fun.

I love em :)
