Has anyone got any experience with either of these scopes? Currently leaning toward bushy in Mil with G2 reticle but I haven't heard anything about them.

Cheers Luke.

The top range Bushnell are, IMO, excellent scopes for the money.

Optic quality is good, low light visibility is noticeably better than other similar price scopes I've found, and build is good.

Don't know how keen I am on first focal plan scopes but if that's your bag their reticles are sharp too.

I have the LRHS 3-12, had it for few years and love it. I also have just bought the SHV 4-14 F1 a couple of days ago. I think it's great too. I probably prefer the G2 reticle in the Bushnell though.
The only reason I went with the Nightforce is I wanted illumination, something the LRHS is missing. I've only fired enough rounds to sight in at this stage but first impressions are very good and I think each scope is as good as the other all bar the illuminated centre in the NF, so I'd say it's better value for money.
But you can't go wrong either way.

Cheers Smiley. I don't need illum so I'll probably go for the bushy I guess. Stick with what I know.

I've got a 4.5-18x 40mm with the .223 drop zone BDC reticle on the Howa Mini Action .223 and quite like it. Bought a 2nd one yesterday to bolt up to the Ruger 77/17 Hornet cause I like to have consistency across rifles. They are a good little scope, reasonably priced around the $300 mark, Target Turrets and side parallax focus though a bit on the heavy side at 609 Grams.

It's arrived!! :D it looks very nice!! Turrets have a nice solid feel and clicks are nice and crisp. glass is great right out to 18x and reticle is a very good rendition of the G2 re designed for hunting. Happy camper can't wait for my rifle to be finished. And give it a go.
