Aimpoint 2MOA vs 4MOA dot scope

Post by disko » 09 Nov 2013, 9:16 am

I've got an Aimpoint H-1 4 MOA dot scope.

I see there's a 2 MOA version now.

Has anyone used these two?

Reckon it's worth forking out for the 2MOA version?

Just a dot scope after all, not sure how much better it's going to be and if it would be worth it.

Your 4 MOA scope does the trick right?

If so, I wouldn't spend a grand to replace it with something that will do the same job.

If the edges of dot reticles were razor sharp it might be worth while.

With the soft edges though I reckon anything decent does just as well as the next scope.

Lots of other things I'd rather then the money on personally than making a fuzzy red dot a little smaller ;)

Another vote for this.

If you were buying your first, go for the 2 MOA one sure.

I wouldn't bother for replacing a perfectly fine one though if you already have the 4 MOA.
