Had a look at and through a couple of vortex scopes at our new LGS the other day!
Anyone give me the pro's and con's?
Mick.

I've got a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12X44 BDC on a Tikka T3 .243W and it works for me.
Compared a few others at the LGS and settled on the Vortex. Great glass, Warranty etc..
I'd recommend Vortex.
Cheers

Same as roginajack, put a crossfire II 4x16x50 on my t3 lite 243, was going to put a meopta on it, but 2 other mates have a diamond back and a PST and for the money I thought it was a good deal when compared to the other usual suspects.

i've got a few of the Vortex Viper PSTs in 6-24x50s and 4-16x50. all are first focal plane with mrad reticles. as above, feature wise they are good for the price, warranty is lifetime. I've not had to use it but have heard others just getting the scope swapped over no questions asked when they've had issues.

already planning on another 6-24x50 and a 2.5-10x32 for my next purchases.

I have both a x40 and a x50 crossfire II scope. They are pretty dam clear and solid scopes and the warranty is what sold them for me. Plus they are pretty sexy slick scopes haha

I've got two Diamondbacks. A 3-9x40 & a 4-12x40ao. Both clear day and night but don't like to be adjusted too much as I tried using my 223 at the range out at 500&600. Turrets did not return to same zero after a lot of dialling. Set and forget holds zero really well.
Also used PST on a club rifle. Dials for elevation and windage well and has held same zero for 2 years with numerous people using it.

Thanks for the input fella's!!!
I have Zeiss on all my other gear and I liked the look of them and the build quality looked pretty good.
I'm getting another Mod 70 F/Weight at the end of the year so I might give them a go!!!

Ha, Im having the Vortex dilemma myself at the moment.

Debating between the Nightforce NXS 8-32X56 ZS MRAD or the Vortex 6-24X50 FFP EBR2C RETICLE MRAD.

Build quality and glass the Nightforce pips the Vortex from what I am told, but for a range gun out to 1000 yds surely the Vortex would be more than enough?

The NXS would be my first choice but is $2400 as opposed to $1400 for the Vortex...

Other than a few of their reticles being crazy busy I have no complaints.
