I know some people don't rate mil-dot reticles because they thing they're distracting, but...

Don't know of you guys are familiar with these, the H28 reticle:

Uh, yeah.... That's what I'd call a "busy" reticle.

It's a military reticle obviously?

Hmm, apparently not.

This if for their H25 reticle.

Multi-Purpose General Reticle
The H25™ reticle features bold duplex-style guides for grey light work. Hunters will find the Shooter's Minute of Angle (SMOA) inverted "L" range finder a welcome addition that is accurate and simple to use. Sportsmen, competitors and professionals will enjoy its precision and reach. A rheostat controls illumination for twilight conditions and the illuminated pattern is well suited to night vision devices.

So there you go, hunting reticle apparently.

Not for me...

I could fuddle around with all that or I could sight in for 200m.

Aim 1.5" low if target is at 100m.

On target if they're at 200m.

6" high at 300m, and that would be very few shots for me.

Anything further than that and I'm moving closer to the target.

Bugger mucking about with all that over my reticle.
See you on the firing line.
