For precision target shooting I would recommend you use the fine crosshair rather than the dots The crosshair is 0.25MoA - about 7mm at 100m. For even better results aim at a finer point away from the target centre, the corner of a piece of tape is good, but zero to have your bullets drop onto the target. This also means your bullet holes won't change the size and shape of your aiming point.
