Placed one on order. Should be fine for my need. The last one I got was a dud. This one seems much better.

Well I didn't get the roo, but I think that's a fox. I had to do some enhancing to bring it up, the claimed 65 feet of illumination range is a bit exaggerated, the "fox" is no more than 10m away.

A final note on the trail cam.
My biggest worry about it was the full-second trigger time, which has unfortunately turned out to be a valid issue.
The unit has been at various locations about the place, all of which are visited by something several times during the night, it has taken many photos of empty darkness to prove that there was movement there.

I then did some tests on myself as you can see the IR LEDs glow dimly when it takes a shot. At normal walking pace, and 5m distant from the camera I was 3m out of shot when it triggered, at half pace I was still out of shot. Only if I walked into range and stopped there did it get me.

With this in mind, I haven't bothered trying to get any video.

Handy for catching the locals having breakfast though.
