Colt Gold Cup Trophy in 22lr

Just purchased a really good 2nd hand Colt Gold Cup Trophy in 22lr but I want to put a fibre optic front sight on it. Just have to wait for my PTA to pick it up.

Any owners have tips on the best place to buy a fibre optic front sight?

Would you also replace the rear sights?

Any other modifications I should consider?

You can try brownells Australia. They have a good selection and they have access to the American store so you can email them and ask if they can add a part to their Australian site.

I wouldn't bother with too many additional modifications to a 22, wait until you go to a bigger Calibre for that stuff.

After a few days at the pistol club I've come to realise this thing isn't very accurate. The groups at 10m are way too big: around 20cm. Think 'spray and pray'. Forget shooting the thing at 25m! And before you ask, it's not me. I shot tight groups with the club S&W Victory with no issues apart from occasionally knocking on the safety.

Is this standard for this brand and model? If not, any suggestions?
