Participation Returns for Multiple Clubs

Post by rc42 » 07 Jul 2020, 6:37 pm

Is anyone else in QLD a member of multiple pistol clubs?
If so, what do you do for participation record returns?

I'm assuming that a full return of all shoots, no matter where they took place, needs to be created and sent to each club even though it duplicates the same response.

Any advice would be appreciated.

There is no need to notify your club/s of your shoots. The days of clubs sending their returns to Weapons are long gone. The onus is on you to maintain your particpation record and provide a copy to Weapons when renewing your license.

Thanks, I should have waited a couple of days, both clubs sent requests for returns, one as an email attachment to be completed and returned and the other an online form. They just wanted to know the total number of shoots in each category for the last year.

I guess they just file those and only have to report to WLB if anyone is below their required shoots.

Some clubs ask for a listing of your attendances. Some don't!
I'm a member of three pistol clubs & only one didn't want a list from me.
I provided a list of all shoots to all three.
