C-More glare

Post by The Shoota » 07 Aug 2022, 2:34 pm

Looking through the sight early in the morning, and at a very low angle towards the rising sun, there is so much diffused red light in the circle that the red dot almost becomes invisible. I spent way too much time sorting out the sight issue instead of concentrating on all the other factors like trigger control etc
When I pace my hand over the sight the interference disappears and the dot is right where it should be.
Question is, who makes a hood, or glare protection ,for a Slide Right Series C-more ?
Or have you fixed the same problem in some other way.( other than starting later in the day)
Cheers all

I had trouble using a konus reflex sight on my shotgun,if you looked anywhere near the sun you got 2 dots, one of which floated around. Not very handy. Actually, overall, for a 200+ dollar sight,it really isn't that much better than a cheap ebay red dot
