Do you like your revolvers blued or stainless?

For some reason, a stainless finish comes to my mind more easily whenever revolvers are mentioned.

It also seems easier to keep a stainless finish looking close to new. My club's blued Ruger GP100 looks like it has seen better days compared to their stainless S&W Model 686 revolvers.

A bead blasted stainless steel look is my preference. Can always be touched up with relative ease. I have a 30 year old S&W 686 that has just been bead blasted and the finish looks like new.

There is nothing like that old school blue on a older gun but stainless steel is much more durable and if you use it a lot or holster it

Seriously? It's blue for me. Shiny guns are for ..... well, it wouldn't be polite to say in public. :-)

Blued ... no .... nickel plated ...
I'd need one of each, I can't decide
