After a spare magazine for STI Trojan

Post by MRadd » 25 Mar 2023, 9:34 pm

Hello,
What do you guys can recommend buying a spare mag for STI Trojan chambered in 9mm?
Is Wilson Combat 1911 magazine compatible with STI Trojan?
What is the best place to buy except for the store in Marg*** QLD
TIA

Any standard 1911 magazine will fit. I run Wilson Combat 10 rounders and they've worked really well for years. I'm not sure who will have them in stock. The big shop at Mar##### had a pretty good selection of 1911 magazines in 9mm and 38 super and a few different brands last time I was in there waiting to be served.

Brownells.com.au has a few brands listed (allow 21 days)

Also GC shooter supplies had a few mecgar on the shelf last time I was in there.

BTW is it legal to buy a magazine from an overseas on-line store?

If you can find one willing to ship International, many won't. You will need a B709 form, and it pays to send the seller a copy to pack with your order.

It is legal to buy it. It's not legal to import it without a B709 import permit.
If you can get it through Brownells.com.au they already have the permits in place. You'll probably have to ask them though as the website is pretty hopeless.

Just by through Brownells Aus it is where I by my Wilson combat magazines and 1911 parts they look after all import bulshit you have nothing to worry about just takes two or three weeks before you get them have dealt with them several occasions and have been very good you just have to send them a copy of your licence as the state they are in the ACT that is required
