I've having a lovely time with my Walther but being 9mm whenever I bring her out she's costing me lots! It does'nt help that I have a heavy trigger finger and I go through ammo like crazy (she's like a high maintainence girlfriend, good time in the sack but it's gonna cost ya).
So now I'm in the market for a quickie 22LR pistol for cheap fun at the range when I'm not shooting the PPQ (the other girl that you do when hot stuff is'nt available).
I'm happy to spend a decent amount on the pistol as long as it's worth it in terms of reliabilty, accuracy, etc. as it will save me heaps in the long run on ammo.
Not looking for a pistol for the Olympics with those weird grips and laser gun like looks but would like a precision shooter that I can still machine gun for fun occasionally.
Lots has been said about the Ruger and the Buckmark but apparently they are a pain to clean and with rimfires being as dirty as they are...
Then theres the semi pro guns like the Beretta 87 and the Hammerli X-esse which are apparently very accurate.
Also available are 22LR versions of 9mm's like the M&P 22, Walther does a few too and the Ruger SR22.
So what should I get to scratch my shooting itch?
