Have been debating on a shadow 2 myself or a hk vp9 when my 12 month limit is up soon.

This is my current toy.

Was a quiet day on call today so spent an hour at the range and then headed back to the office to do some colour fill! Came up alright I thought.

Ohh very nice, what did you use? White nail polish?

I cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol first to get rid of any oils, then had some good Dulux enamel spray paint lying around so used that, then used acetone free nail polish remover to get rid of the excess.

How does the .22 1911 shoot?

Really happy with it mate. Bought it in February and have only put 200 rounds through it so far, sights are spot on from the factory too.

That's good about the 1911.. I had been thinking about getting one when I got the walther ppq.

That's a really good job with the paint... hmm I have a airbrush and whole setup for painting with water based paints..

Got this a couple of months ago. At first I didn't think it was accurate. Now after about 300 rounds, I find it to be actually very accurate. Love shooting it so much.

Junjun,

That's a nice looking pistol.. I like the FDE look.

What matches do you shoot with it?

Prestige grips from the states made them. They are red carbon fibre.

Not sure what category my pistol is, then again I bought it in the USA, so categories were not an issue.

Husqvarna M1907. The Belgian FN 1903 was adopted by Sweden as the m/1907 made by FN, and later by Husqvarna, until 1940 when it was treplaced by the Swedish licenced copy of the Finnish Lahti, designated m/40. The m/40 was withdrawn from service and replaced by the m/1907 in the early 1980's as Swedish troops joined UN Peacekeepers in the Middle East as a stop gap measure after the m/40 started to fail from +P NATO ammo, until the adoption of the Glock into Swedish service. Many of these pistols can still be found "in the grease" as another of mine is, but this one is for shooting.

Nice Walthers skldvenom, how'd you acquire them without the 120mm barrel length limit? Security work?

G'day Wylie27,
That 686 new is it? I have a 586 which I love, and as much as I enjoy my Pythons I always seem to average 10 to 15 points better with the Smith! You enjoy!! Cheers.
