Alliant Bullseye Availability

Post by spEKTre » 02 Jan 2017, 6:36 pm

Hi guys just a quick question about the availability of Bullseye in Australia, can't seem to find anywhere that stocks it. Is it no longer made ? or is it having the same issue Winchester has with its powders coming into the Country ?

It's across the board with Alliant powders at the moment,It's as rare as rocking horse s**t!!
I use RL 25 and RL 19,Not a lot of it but was lucky enough to find a couple of shops with a supply and stocked right up about a year ago.
Don't really the story of it but have heard that the importers are not bringing a lot ( If any ) into the country at the moment.
All you can do is keep looking I guess!!

I haven't really seen it around in a long time at any of the local stores.

You might be better to transition to an ADI load TBH.

Is that The Stockade?

It's been many years since I've been there but back in the day always remember it being a good store with helpful guys.

The stockade was closed last year.

These guys moved into the premises and it's a completely different shop.

PBA imports runs out of there...
The shop is called Terrey Hills Gun Shop

Found this.

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/n ... 4e948aab72

A police spokesman said “multiple offences were allegedly detected”, but declined to elaborate in any detail.

“These (alleged offences) relate to the storage, categorisation and registration of firearms as well as other issues,” the spokesman said. It is understood many of the offences are related to record-keeping.

Looks like it wen't down because of not sticking to the letter of the red tape.
