Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a .22 Centerfires Semi Automatic Pistol?

Everything I have seen such as the Beretta M9 22 are Rimfire pistols

Reason I am asking is because I am not allowed to own a Centerfires and a Rim Fire Pistol at the same time whist on my PPL in NSW

I can own 2 centerfires or 2 Rim Fires but not one of each

Not as far as I know. There used to ba athing called the .22 Remington Jet many years ago, but it's dead as truth in journalism

Oh, yes - it wasn't an auto, but a revolver ....

The FN 5.7x28 uses a .224" bullet same as the .223 although lighter at around 28-40gr. By all reports and reviews they are allegedly a very accurate pistol but buggered if I can get mine to group better then a shotgun at 10m, in fact the 12ga probably has a tighter group.
