Laser carwash

Anyone use the laser carwash things that are everywhere now?

Drive past them but haven't been in, supposed to be 'touchless' instead of the rollers thumping your paintwork.

Worth the $12 bucks? How's the wash?

I think they're good if you do it regularly to keep it clean.

Not so great at cleaning an dirty car though. I've taken mine through after being slack for about 6 weeks and it cleaned it some, but there was still a fine layer left after it did all it's polish etc, Just doesn't have the gusto to get the stubborn layer off if it's been on for a while and needing a hand toweling.

If you did it once a week or whatever though to maintain I expect it would work well.

I must be a cheap skate... $12?

Bucket of suds and 10 minutes and you're done.

Quick and lazy. Nothing wrong with that if you don't have the time but the result is nothing like being hand done.

Just seems to seal the dirt on with the polish coats after not cleaning it 100%...

I don't know what's "laser" about them.

Just a bar of water jets pounds your paintwork....
